Privacy Policy - Desi Hisab

            Summary: Desi Hisab is a rent & tenant management application built with user privacy as a first principle. All your records (floors, rooms, tenants, rent payments) are stored 100% locally on your device. We do NOT collect, upload, or sell your personal or financial data to any external server.
        

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Desi Hisab does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not store your data on cloud servers. Specifically, we do NOT collect:

Names, phone numbers, or addresses of your tenants
Rental payment histories or amounts
Photos, documents, or personal files
Real-time GPS location data

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All records created within the application—such as tenant information, rent payment records, deposit details, notes, and building configurations—are saved strictly inside your device's private SQLite database (local storage). You have complete control over this data, and deleting the app or clearing app storage will erase all locally saved records.

3. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics (Google AdMob)

To keep the application free to use, Desi Hisab displays banner and app-open advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may collect and process certain non-personal device information in accordance with its own privacy policies, including:

Advertising Identifier (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version
General, non-precise location (such as country or city level derived from IP address)
Ad performance and interaction diagnostics

4. App Permissions

Desi Hisab requests only standard Android permissions necessary for its intended functionality:

INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required by Google Mobile Ads SDK to request and display ads.
VIBRATE: Used solely to provide subtle haptic feedback during interactive controls (e.g. swipe to confirm payment).
AD_ID: Used by Google Play services to display relevant ads in compliance with Google Play Developer Policy.

5. Children's Privacy

Desi Hisab is designed for general audiences and property owners/managers. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.

6. Security of Your Data

Because all tenant and rent data is stored locally in the application's isolated internal database sandbox on your Android device, it is protected by the Android operating system's security architecture.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy from time to time.
